Cody Jo Eflin — founder and product builder

About the Founder

The person behind Pattern

I'm Cody Jo Eflin. I build software that tries to make complex workflows feel calmer, clearer, and more useful in real life. Pattern comes from that same instinct: give craft makers a better design workspace without burying them in tool clutter.

My background spans enterprise software, platform operations, QA, delivery, and product systems. In a craft tool, that translates into practical editing flows, clearer project structure, and software that respects the time and attention of the person using it.

Pattern is meant to be a working design tool, not a novelty. The goal is to help someone move from idea to finished pattern with less friction and more control, whether they are designing for crochet, beading, or quilting.

Built for making

The editor is meant to support actual craft workflows, not just produce a nice first impression.

Clarity over clutter

Pattern aims for a calmer UI so design decisions stay legible while you work.

Trust still matters

Project and account data deserve careful handling even in creative software.

Start with the workspace that matches how you think

If you want to explore the tool first, open your workspace. If you want the product context first, read the updates and privacy pages.
